This book is the voice of women across the spectrum of Zimbabwean society - they all tell their stories. The interviews in this book were done after independence, in 1983. The book is divided into three sections. In the first section eight women tell their stories. In the second section women talk about their experiences in different areas of work. The third section is about women in one of the most important areas of decision making - women councillors.
